Our guests raved about my son’s invitations. They were even better than I imagined! - Anne Carroll

Ah, the photo. One that will echo your sentiments for each other and will live on in the memories of your guests. Relax – you have several easy options from which to choose.

  • Some couples prefer to use a photo taken by a friend or family member. If you decide to proceed in the fashion, we have created a guide below to help you.
  • We can work with your wedding photographer if he/she will be taking pictures of you prior to your wedding day. Please use our online permission to grant Lindsay Brooke Exclusive Invitations the right to use your photographer’s digital image in creating only your wedding stationary. We require a 4x6 inch digital image with an original resolution of 400 dpi. All digital images are deleted from our files six months after your wedding, allowing you the opportunity to order additional stationary such as thank you cards and note cards.
  • Our staff can create a captivating and romantic image of the two of you. Please contact Lindsay Brooke Exclusive Invitations for more information and pricing on this exclusive service.

Guidelines for photo shoot

Staging a photo shoot with a trusted family member or friend can be great fun! Set up a good location, time and place, relax and shoot away. In taking your pictures, we offer the following guidelines:

  • All Lindsay Brooke invitation packages are commercially printed. In order to guarantee the highest quality, we require a 4x6 inch digital image with an original resolution of 400 dpi. (Images “rezzed up” in Photoshop or other image-editing program are not acceptable for this process.)
  • Use a six-mega pixel (or better) digital camera set at the highest image size and turn off digital zoom.
  • If taking picture indoors, use natural daylight, if possible. Avoid using the camera’s built-in flash.
  • If shooting picture outdoors, avoid bright sun situations. When sunny, take pictures in the shade.
  • Wear neutral colors and styles; avoid fancy or frilly collars and necklines.
  • We want to make this as easy as possible for you. If you like, you may send us your first shots and we will review them and let you know if they are useable. If not, we will offer suggestions on how they may be improved if you reshoot.
